Utelisys next generation transcoding system that utilizes the latest technology from Texas Instruments and Advantech. 

The Utelisys transcoding solution is capable of 60 MPEG2 streams to H264 in a single 1U device.

The transcoding system can support 120 channels in a H.264 mobile video application (CIF, 30fps) and 60 channels in a content delivery network using H.264 (SD, 30fps). For HD Broadcast applications, the system is capable of supporting 4 channels of AVCIntra-50, 10-bit, 4:2.0 at 60fps.

Using 4 hardware dsps having in total 32 cores available makes the system ideal for clients needing the highest performing video processing technology. 

Our second generation device will double the above numbers, with future generations that can go even beyond them. 

The first product samples are planned for December 2012.
